March 11, 2017 - Event Cancelled Due to Storms
15050 Cinco Park Rd.
Katy, TX 77450
UPDATE: The Conservation Day has been cancelled. We will reschedule in the fall.
Well, we have chosen to cancel this event due to the thunderstorm arriving right as our event was intended to begin. We had hoped Texas weather would have changed and gave us a window to work, yet that is not the case. Keeping everyone safe and dry is top priority. We were very impressed by the number of people who had signed up, over 150 people had planned to attend. Thank you very much for showing interest, we will plan to reschedule this event later this year in the fall. Please be sure and let anyone you know that had planned to attend that the event this weekend is cancelled. Thank you!
The Eagle Scout alumni of the Katy Eagle Nest is hosting a conservation day to enable local Scouts to complete conservation hours to help their local community and meet the conservation hour requirement for a variety of Scout ranks and merit badges.
Life Scout to Eagle Scout advisors, Scoutmasters, and merit badge counselors are encouraged to invite Scouts of any rank to attend the event to help them complete requirements to get to the Life Scout rank. Be sure to log all participation time to Journey to Excellence for your unit.
The event is free and includes limited drinks, snacks and food.
